What is counted — the last 30 days

Three things add 1 to a daily total: each step of connecting a channel, a channel’s owner opening a page of its private dashboard, and a download of a channel’s data file. This page is the whole of what is stored.

A stored row is a date, a step name, and a number. No address, no browser, no account and no channel is recorded, so a count cannot be traced back to a person. Two of the connect-page rows name a kind of client — another app’s in-app browser, or an automated client — and never which browser it was. One row counts a sign-in that began at a channel owner’s link, and never which channel it was. One more counts email turned on from the page shown right after connecting, and never whose email it was. The owner-open row never says which dashboard was opened, and the two download rows — the database file and the CSV file — never say which channel’s data it was; a download by an automated client is not counted, and neither is a channel’s SQL Playground loading its database file into a browser to query it. These daily totals are the only measurement this site performs — reading the public pages is not counted, the pages carry no analytics script and set no tracking cookie.
