Benchmarks
Half the videos in the shared pool are past 8 views a week after publishing.
Every range here is measured from real connected channels that chose to share their stats — the middle half of a group, and its median. Nothing here is a target, and no channel is named.
How views build, day by day
The shaded band is the middle half of the pool at each age — the quarter above and the quarter below the median. It is drawn only where both of those are stored.

The groups, and what each one runs at
A group is channels matched on size, age, and the shape of what they post. A channel is read against the narrowest group the record can fill.

Where these ranges come fromHide where these ranges come from
Each row is one stored group statistic: the median of that group’s value for the window named on the row, and the middle half around it where both quartiles are stored. The numbers are copied into every pooled channel’s daily file; this page reads all of those files and shows, for each group, the reading from the file with the latest reported day — which is why each group carries its own stamp rather than the page carrying one date.
These groups are drawn from 2+ channels. The number is a floor, not a tally — the exact membership of a group is never stored.
A channel joins the pool only when its owner turns it on, and turning it off deletes its contributed data on the next daily build. Public pooled channels are listed by name on the directory; the numbers here name no one.

Benchmarks are the pool's output. These surfaces describe the pool itself, and the machinery that produced every number on this site.
